About Us

Meet our Pastor Dr. John Olukanni and our mother in the Lord, Deaconess Deborah Olukanni

Ministry Values

  1. We are committed to being Christ-Centered. Everything we are led to do will originate with Christ and flow with Christ.
  2. We are committed  to being Christ-Focused. We will possess and activate the mind of Christ, focused on building the Kingdom of God and destroying the Kingdom of Satan.
  3. We are committed to being Christ-Caring. We will possess and manifest the heart of Christ demonstrating compassion one for another.
  4. We are committed to  being Christ-Sharing. We will communicate the gospel message with the saved and unsaved at every given opportunity.
  5. We are committed to being Christ-Loving. We will demonstrate an unconditional love and a non-discriminatory attitude towards mankind, regardless of race, color, creed or discrimination.
  6. We are committed to being Christ-Giving. We will operate from the principle in scripture that says "It is more blessed to give than to receive". We will give our time, talents and treasures as led by the Lord.
  7. We are committed to being Christ- Glorifying. Whatever we are led to do, will be done heartily as unto the Lord so that He will be glorified.

Our Belief

The

  1. A personal testimony of your Salvation in Christ. (Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:9-10) In other words: You need to be a born again Christian, and know Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
  2. Your acknowledgment of and obedience to the Order and Officers of the Church: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders and Deacons. (Heb. 13:17, Eph. 4:11-12, 1 Cor. 12:28) In other words:  Respect those in leadership.  It should be easy to respect them.  If not, tell them in the right attitude and in the right place.
  3. Your presence in the meetings of the Church and abidance in full communion; that is, not to absent yourself more than three times from communion without sufficient reason given for your absence. (Heb 10:25) In other words:  Be committed to the church; ‘lukewarm’ commitment is no good to God or to the Church.
  4. Your conformity with the fundamental doctrines of the Church, as well as with the two ordinances, namely: baptism by immersion, and the Lord’s Supper. (Rom 6:4, Luke 22:19, 1 Cor. 11:24, 2 John 1:9-10, Romans 6:17) In other words:  Follow the teachings of the church.
  5. That you contribute towards the support of the cause, as taught unto us in the Word of God. (Gen. 14:20, 28:22, Lev 27:30, 1 Chronicles 29:14, Heb 7:8 &17, 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, Matthew 23:23) In other words:  Be willing to play your part, be a partaker and not a spectator.
  6. That you keep the counsels of the Church within the Church. (Matthew 7:6) In other words:  Don’t blabber church business wherever you go.  Gossip never did any good.
  7. That you pray for and help every member, remembering that we are joint members in the Body of Christ. (Heb. 10:24, 1 Cor. 12:25:26, 1 Tim 2:1, Gal. 6:2) In other words:  Live out your Christianity, practice what we preach.
  8. Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Eph. 4:3) In other words:  We don’t need people who cause division, but work for unity.  Dividers cause trouble; "uniters" bring peace.

WATCHWORD: "THE LORD IS GOOD, A  STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE." (Nahum 1:7 NKJV)
